Minimum Laptop Specs for Presenting in Classrooms
For class presentations and teaching, each School of Film/Video classroom and computer lab is equipped with a central A/V system that includes a Mac mini or a Mac Studio computer. It is recommended that School of Film/Video faculty and students use the Mac mini or teaching workstation installed in the classroom or computer lab for all presentations.
Faculty and students may optionally connect a personal laptop to the classroom A/V systems for class presentations. Please refer to this 2 Pop article for further instruction on how to connect your laptop.
If using a personal laptop to present in a classroom or computer lab, please ensure that the device meets the minimum specs outlined below. Devices that do not meet these specs cannot be supported.
