The first button below will take you to a list containing the name and film title of every received submission form for the 2025 Character Animation Open Show. It automatically updates as forms are received, but may take a few minutes for the list to refresh after receiving a form. Monitor this link to make sure we received the submission form(s) for your film(s)! The information in the list is how the information will be published in the Open Show print program. Please check spelling, punctuation and capitalization of names and titles, and email any changes to Maija, Shane, and Jonah (mburnett@calarts.edu, svincent@calarts.edu, jprimiano@calarts.edu).

Submission forms in this list that are highlighted do not have a submitted film/image file along with them, and will not be screened.

Below is the final list of films that have been submitted and edited into the 2025 Character Animation Open Show. The films are listed in the order they will be screened during the show (determined by the order in which they were submitted). This order can not be changed.

  • “Estimated Times” are intended to be approximate times throughout each night, and are intended to serve only as a rough estimate of when a particular point in the show will play. The actual time a film will play depends on when the first film actually starts, and the lengths of films on either side of the listed times.
  • Due to the length of the show and the need to be finished each night at 11:00PM, we only have time for one five minute intermission each night. However, there are several “bathroom break” films spread throughout the show that are intended to serve as additional intermissions.
