What is the Character Animation Open Show?

The Character Animation Open Show is the year end screening of films created by enrolled Character Animation students during the academic year. There are specific eligibility requirements for submitting films to the Open Show.

All films submitted for the Open Show that meet time limits and eligibility requirements will be considered for the Producers’ Show (unless a student opts their film out of consideration).

The screening is free and open to the public to attend, and the combined runtime of the films can exceed eight hours. There are several short intermissions during the show, which can stretch the event to over ten hours. Attendees are not required to stay for the entire length of the screening.
