Faculty member and producer Justin Hogan will lead a three-part Film Commons workshop on independent film distribution, running February 6–20. The series will cover audience-building strategies, festival submissions, and marketing tools through Seed & Spark’s Distribution Playbook, helping filmmakers take control of their distribution journey.
👉 Participants are encouraged to bring a laptop or iPad for note-taking and interactive components.
What is Film Commons?
Film Commons is a workshop and speaker series designed to provide CalArts students with industry insights, practical skills, and career-building opportunities in film and moving image. Each session features professionals, alumni, and industry experts, covering topics such as:
