This is article is only for users who are already in conversation with technical staff about remote support.
The following shows how to install TeamViewer on MacOS 10.15 (Catalina).
Download TeamViewer for free from www.teamviewer.com/download. When you run the installer you will see this window. Click Continue.
At the Unattended Access screen, click Skip.
You will be prompted to Review System Access. Click Request Access under Screen Recording.
A pop-up window will appear. Click Open System Preferences.
You will be brought to the Privacy tab in the Security & Privacy Window. Click the lock at the bottom left to make changes. You will be prompted to enter your password for your computer.
Check the box next to TeamViewer.
After checking the box next to TeamViewer, a pop-window will appear. Click Later.
You should be brought back to the Review System Access window. Click Request Access under Accessibility.
You will be taken to the Accessibility area of your System Preferences. Check the box next to TeamViewer.
Your Review System Access window should now look like this:
Quit TeamViewer and then relaunch TeamViewer. The TeamViewer interface will look like this:
Your remote support technician will ask you for your ID number and your password.
Your remote support technician will now be able to share your screen and control your computer.
