COVID-19 Film Production Guidelines
Production Version 9. September 4th, 2022
The following guidelines are in place for the 2022/2023 school year. Given the changing conditions of the COVID pandemic, CalArts maintains regular contact with federal/local government and health officials to ensure proper protocols are followed and guidelines are updated regularly. It’s also the student’s responsibility to stay current with guidance, rules, and laws that govern the safety of the public.
When making production plans, please err on the side of caution. Make sure you work with Production Services when developing your project and COVID safety plan if necessary. Please keep in mind that despite all reasonable measures required, there is an inherent risk of exposure/contracting COVID-19 when other people are present.
Film/Video students need to comply with all the guidelines below, as well as the COVID-19 amendments to the CalArts Student Life Policies.
Please use the sidebar to continue navigating through the COVID-19 Best Practices Handbook.
