December 10-11 at the Jaxx Theater in Hollywood, the Los Angeles Animation Festival returns for a full weekend of screenings, entertainment and awards.
There will be nine programs consisting of the Official Selection, including all films in competition. Many are the work of LA-based animators. Saturday is the Opening Night Party featuring works by and conversations with filmmakers Joe Cappa, Brad Ableson, and entertainment by legendary one-man rock band Princess Frank, followed by industry mixer and charity raffles.
Sunday evening is devoted to the LAAF awards ceremony, featuring clips of each of the winning films and a screening of the festival’s Grand Prize Winner.
