LAAF is LA’s only International Animation Festival running since 2007 and is dedicated to helping indie and student filmmakers. LAAF accepts ANY animated film, produced ANY year, in ANY category, including music video, documentary short, combination animation and live action, and promos, in addition to narrative and experimental shorts and features. Previous guests and honorees include Pixar Director Brad Bird, Sean Lennon (also Artistic Director), Bill Plympton, Peter Chung, Chris Prynoski, Tom Kenny, Jerry Beck and the late great Will Vinton.
