La Cinef, a category within the Festival de Cannes, contributes to the discovery of new talented directors from film schools around the world. Twenty selected films (fiction and animation) will be presented at Cannes.
Registration Criteria:
- 60 min. running time max
- Made during the 18 months preceding the festival
- Not yet presented at major international festivals (except in its country of origin)
Reminders
- Documentaries are not accepted
- Films from film schools have to be registered with La Cinef and cannot be registered for the Short Film Competition
